NEISA Sailors of the Week, Weekend 8, Fall 2019


*** Agerup, Reynolds, and Montgomery are the NEISA Co-ed Sailors of the Week***

Boston, MA – 10/31/19 – Ragna Agerup ’20, Julia Reynolds ’21, and Emma Montgomery ’22 from Brown University are the NEISA Coed Sailors of the Week after winning A-Division at the 79th Professor Erwin Schell Trophy. The trio sailed consistently in difficult conditions to lead Brown to a commanding lead in A-Division and overall.

 

***Nordstrom, Loiacono, Mollerus, and Clulo are the NEISA Women Sailors of the Week***

Boston, MA – 10/31/19– Louisa Nordstom ’20, Claudia Loiacono ’21, Catherine Mollerus ‘21 and Kathryn Clulo ’21of Yale University are the NEISA Women’s Sailors of the Week after leading Yale to a 1st Place finish at the Victorian Urn Trophy. Nordstrom, Loiacono, Mollerus, and Clulo won A-Division by 10 points and placed in the top ten in seven of the twelve races sailed.  A very difficult feat considering the difficult conditions.  

 

Around the District

Bates won the New England Dinghy Tournament with Bentley finishing in a close second with a strong A-Division finish by Memoli and Tracy. Tufts won the Nickerson Trophy with Brown in second Roger Williams University in third. Yale won the Dave Perry and Tufts won the Dark of Night.
