NEISA Sailors of the Week, Weekend 2, Fall 2018


***Marshall is the NEISA Coed Sailor of the Week***

Boston, MA—9/18/18-Henry Marshall ’22 is the NEISA Coed Sailor of the Week for winning the NEISA Men’s Singlehanded Championship hosted by Boston College. Marshall placed in the top-three in 8 out of 11 races and qualifies for the 2018 Laser Performance College Sailing Singlehanded Nationals.

***Nordstrom is the NEISA Women’s Sailor of the Week***

Boston, MA—9/18/18-Louisa Nordstrom ’20 is the NEISA Women’s Sailor of the Week after winning the NIESA Women’s Singlehanded Championship. Nordstrom claimed 1stplace by 2 points with 9 top-five finishes. Nordstrom has qualified for the 2018 Laser Performance College Sailing Singlehanded Nationals.

Around the Conference

Louisa Nordstrom ’20 Yale, Sophia Reineke ’21 Boston College, AnaLucia Clarkson ’22 Connecticut College, Abbie Carlson ’22 Tufts, Hannah Steadman ’20 Brown, and Isabella Loosbrook ’19 Boston College qualified for the 2018 Laser Performance College Sailing Singlehanded Nationals at the NEISA Women’s Singlehanded Championship. Qualifying from the Men’s Championship were Henry Marshall ’22 Harvard, Scott Rasmussen ’20 Boston College, Patrick Shanahan ’19 Brown University, and Javier De urdanibia panos ’21 Boston University. Dartmouth College won the Hatch Brown Memorial Trophy and Regis Trophy hosted on the Charles River. Bowdoin won the Nicholas Barnett Trophy, while URI won the Donaghy Bowl.
