

*** Mia Nicolosi and Ximena Escobar are the NEISA Women’s Sailors of the Week***
Boston, MA – 9/11-12/21 – Mia Nicolosi ’25 and Ximena Escobar ’25 of Yale University are the NEISA Women’s Sailors of the week. The first year team ran away with B-Division at the Tony Duetsch ’58 Regatta held at MIT. Nicolosi and Escobar won their division by over 30 points in 14 races over two days in winds ranging from 5-10 knots on Saturday to 12-18 knots on Sunday. Their B-Division performance elevated the Bulldogs to third place overall.


***Teddy Nicolosi and Anisha Arcot are the NEISA Coed Sailors of the Week***
Branford, CT – 9/11-12/21 – Teddy Nicolosi ’24 and Anish Arcot ’23 of Yale University are the NEISA Coed Sailors of the Week. With their 25 point win in B-Division at the Harry Anderson Trophy, Nicolosi and Arcot propelled their team to a convincing win in the waters off of the Yale Corinthian YC. The pair sailed the entire event together while most teams switched partners to try and optimize for the windy conditions on Sunday Morning.
Around the Conference
Yale, Coast Guard, Brown and BC were the top four at the Pine trophy and Tufts, Bowdoin, Northeastern and Maine Maritime were the top four at the Harmon Cup. These top four from each event have qualified for the Sloop Match Race New England Championship.
MIT Won the Toni Duetsch ’58 by 7 points over Brown.
Bowdoin won the Penobscot Bay Open by a whopping 54 points over Tufts.
Coast Guard won the Mount Hope Bay Invite by 31 points over Home team Roger Williams.
Boston University won the Harvard Invite over the home team.
Dartmouth took the top three spots at the Bears invite at Brown.
Boston University claimed the Charles Invitational by 1 point over the U. of Rhode Island.
