At the conclusion of the 2022 New England Fleet Race Championship for the U.S Coast Guard Alumni Bowl , hosted by MIT, the NEISA Awards Committee announced the 2022 All NEISA Open Team. 2022 NEISA Open Sailor of the Year:

2022 NEISA Coach of the Year:
Diana Weidenbacker from the University of New Hampshire has been named the NEISA Coach of the Year as voted on by her peers. Diana was the leader in getting the Regional Teams National Invitational up and running. This championship was held for the first time this spring at Salve Regina University. The event was a huge success attracting 17 schools from all over the country. Diana’s team capped the year of finishing as the highest placing NEISA team in 4th place overall.
