Preston has been a driving force in creating the Inclusivity, Diversity and Equity Task Force or TIDE as it is commonly known. Preston is also the former NEISA Undergraduate Scheduling Assistant, and played a contributing role in the Virtual Team Development Symposium in 2020. He is currently the Vice Chair of the ICSA TIDE where he partners with BUSA, NESCAC and US Sailing.
